People consistently say that they are tired of the church asking them for money.  But there is something that the church needs more than they need money.  Are you willing to give what is truly needed?

"If we were more 'think-ful', we'd be more thankful.  How thankful are we, really?  Having a holiday to give thanks isn't a bad idea, but it shouldn't take a holiday to make a Christ-follower thankful every day of the year.  This week, Pastor Dave Wiener looks at the parable of the Ten Lepers in the book of Luke to challenge us to be people marked by thankful hearts.

How does a REAL disciple of Jesus Christ live?  What are the marks that distinguish a true follower of Christ from a cultural "Christian?"  Jesus has called us to be His Disciples, not into some kind of casual relationship.  Matthew 16:21-28 gives us a picture of a disciple, right from the mouth of the teacher, Christ.

Is it enough to "do your Christian duty?"  Are going to church, singing songs, and listening to a sermon the things that make you a Christian.  In the book of Matthew, chapter 15, we learn that the externals are not important unless there is a changed heart behind them.  Join us as Pastor Dave challenges us to dig deeper in our spiritual lives and "get beneath the surface"
